why is cereal considered a breakfast food? is it ok to have cereal for lunch?
Is it considered a breakfast food for a reason? Like it somehow prepares your body for a big day, so it's not recommended for late at night? I know it's a healthy thing and I sometimes struggle to find healthy food thats easy to make. I forgot lunch today so I figured I could just have cereal instead and that would be a good lunch. Is this ok?

i think it's perferctly fine! i eat cereal for lunch, dinner, and sometimes snacks too (not all in one day though lol). just make sure you're not eating some sugary loaded kids cereal. the best cereals have around 100 calories per serving, are low in fat and sugar, have at least 3g fiber per serving, and have some protein as well, like 5g. i'm not sure why it's considered a breakfast food, or why some things are considered lunch or dinner foods. i eat what i want regardless, like sometimes i have a chicken sandwich for breakfast and then some oatmeal for lunch, i don't think it actually matters as long as what you eat is healthy. good luck!
