Frequently Asked Questions...
When i was growing up we had very gentle childrens programmes?
Like mary mungo and midge,Ivor the engine,Pipkins,Romper room, finger mouse,The clangers,Paddington bear,Trumpton, bagpuss and Mr Ben to name a few, looking back they were a bit depressing, the man doing the voice over seemed very depressed lol
As the years have passed and i've seen the stuff my son watches everything seems so hyped up and loud,
Is this a reflection of the society we live in today
Do you think the telly people put on programmes like Heartbeat because people really do miss days gone by?
Answer:
I think the presenters have to be hyped up and loud to get the kids attention and to try and get them off thier pc's and ps2's, there's so much competition for thier attention compared to yester year, I remember when there was just 3 channels, the presenters then didn't have to sell them selves cos they knew the kids would be back no matter what.
Mr Ben..loved that one...did you know the actor who's voice they used is in a certain soap. You forgot to mention Captain Pugwash and Rhubarb and Custard lol
