What should I do with the child I'm babysitting?
This is my first real babysitting job and I don't want to bore the kids. I was wondering what are some good indoor and outdoor activities to do with children between the ages of 5 and 7. Anything from simple crafts to games will be perfect. Websites where I can find different activities will help to. Advice is also strongly needed! Thanks a lot!

Let the kids try Hide-n-Seek, with one counting up to 100 and the other(s) hiding. If they really like it, it can go on for hours...
Another thing is reading to them. If they have a favorite book then encourage them to bring it along! You can read it with enthusiasm and voice and they'll be enchanted. If they don't bring one, read one with a strong lesson or something hilarious.
For crafts, you could first make a scavenger hunt list and have them find everything (bring the items with you, e.g. feather, leaf, heart...) and then have them glue it on paper and decorate it with handprints on paint. Or for prints, stick thumb/finger in ink, press into tape, and stick it on. Then have them sign it. Give it to their parents as a keepsake.
You could play this game; give each child a piece of paper and describe something. Have them draw what they think it is. The correct picture winner can tell you their next drawing and the others can try to think of it.
If you're outside or inside, you can play Simon Says. Just call out movements and if they don't do them they can help call.
Gather everyone in a circle and have a paper pad and pen in handy. Start a story (like, "once upon a time" or "it was a dark and stormy night...") and go around the circle with each kid adding on...write it down, then have them illustrate it!
If outside, you could hold races. Have a start line, yell out "Ready, set, go!" and see who can run to the tree (or whatever) and back first. Have prizes, like an apple, or toy.
You could write down everyone's names, and then have each child pull one another's name. Then have them make a picture, gift bag, etc. for each child. At the end, exchange gifts.
